Tim studied Mathematics and Economics at the University of Victoria and has been previously licensed by the relevant financial regulatory bodies in the UK and US, and is now licensed in Canada. More recently, Tim took a sabbatical from his professional career to spend 3 months studying Italian in Umbria.

On a personal note Tim enjoys the outdoors and a wide range of sports including golf, skiing, mountain biking, running and basketball.
